Cats are very special animals, they are their own species. No wonder they are and always have been rulling the internet, people are just mesmerized by those little beings. I can't but to like and respect cats and this is why.
Cats are graceful. They can jump far up or long ahead and do it with incredible grace, they can make moves that would impress even the greates athletes, they can walk casually on thinnest walls and branches like it's nothing, and they kind of always look like they are posing. They groom themselves and their precious fur with a lot of care to always look clean and presentable which hardly any other animal does. If cat looks dirty and bad, help her because that cat is sick and suffering. They always want to look clean, polished and graceful.
Cats are super-cute. Seriously, they look like children toys, like something made by Japanese animation teams, they do not look real, they are that cute. Nature created cats seemingly by composing everything humans consider cute into one little animal (or not so little in case of bigger cats): large eyes, tiny button nose, fluffiness, little paws with literall sharp daggers that can pop out whenever (thish somehow makes them even cuter), I mean, you can't deny they are freaking adorable! And they KNOW they are cute, look at my little Diva, she is senior but she knows she is cute.
Cats even die gracefully, they know when it's their time and they just retreat on some lonely, peaceful place to die alone in peace.
This is one beautiful, smart stray cat who always takes care of herself even though she lives outside.
Cats are silly. I mean, try to watch cat videos online and I dare you not to laugh. They are funny, they are weird and silly, they are hard not to watch because they are sometimes so ridiculous but still fascinating. No wonder most funny and cute videos are about cats. Sure, there are also other animals, but nowhere near as many as cats' videos! I dare you to watch any "funny cats" video and not laugh at least once!
Cats know how to enjoy life and live in the moment. They are so lovely to look at because they seem to enjoy every moment in their lives, no matter what is happening. No one can sleep so comfy and happily as cats, so relaxed that you feel relaxed just by looking at them. They know how to enjoy sunny days without thinking "what will I do when it gets cold?", they know how to enjoy meals when they have them, they know how to enjoy sun and grass or comfy little bed... we can learn from cats, more than anyone else, how to live in the moment, how to enjoy life now, when we can, while we can.
Cats demand respect. You have to earn love of a cat. They probably won't love you just because you are there, you have to earn that. They demand bonding, they have healthy boundaries, they are very aware that they are the prize. How can I not respect that?
